This is an excellent product. Very simple to set up the equipment and very user friendly. The installation of the program could be improved. It took close to 45 min to install. At times the install process seemed to “hang”. More visual install progress could be added.

Using an older Sony Handycam, I put together a DVD from Hi-8 tape with no problems with this product. I have Vista and a Dell laptop. You should definitely have the right specifications on your computer (memory, hard drive space) for this. If so, it works fine and I look forward to transferring a lot of memories onto DVD for posterity.
