I use eset nod32, can it detect a virus before i unzip it?

i”ve noticed that all the scanned files on NOD32 scan results are marked like this: [file locked][4]. what does it mean? please do not offer me another antivirus or antispyware and keep spam for yourselves!

I dowloaded Kaspersky 6 from a file sharing program.. but it says I can’t install it unless I delete NOD32.. but is that safe? I’m afraid after deleting it , Kaspersky might have some errors, ..then my pc won’t be protected at all!!! advice plz

When NOD32 copies an infected file to quarantine, where is this file stored? I mean, is there a quarantine folder somewhere, so I can delete the infected file, since NOD32 couldn’t clean it? Do you know where this list is? Thanks
